Being a new member, I thought it appropriate to read through some of the older posts. I noticed debates on whether to include Hurricane Harbor as a seperate forum, how people are assigned ranks like Spacley's Rider, Ragin Cajun, etc. And how to draw new members, etc.
I don't know if these issues were resolved sufficiently, but I can certainly put my imput out there for better or for worse.

1. Being that Hurricane Harbor is the ONLY part of the park I ever go to, I have a personal bias against cutting out anything having to do with it. But I understand if everyone else didn't want it. why keep it? But I sure like it.

2. As for the ranks designated by amount of posts, it would sure be something to shoot for (for me) if there was at least one named after Hurricane Harbor!

3. As for traffic and new members, I noticed with my own website that linking to websites with similar themes (but not competitors websites) brings in people.
I would certainly love to link my website to this one (with permission of course.) Thereby sharing my traffic with this website and vica versa. Will it generate a thousand new members overnight? No. But it does help get the word out.

To answer your questions:

1: The Hurricane Harbor forum did exist years ago, but was axed and merged into this forum due to extremely low activity (no posts since the accident on Tornado, I believe).

2: The ranks go by the post count in relation to the most-intense roller coaster (new members are Spaceley's riders, etc.). I'd send you to the thread regarding rankings, however I need to re-do them with Little Dipper and possibly Chang coming in the near future.

3: You're more than welcome to link to SFGAmZone! See this thread for all the info you need! We will link to your own site in return.
